Rhys, not really.

Derv ones are fine as patrol/defence boats which is purely why Canada will want them.

Only real advantage of Nuclear powered ones are long range so can stay out for months on end with no refueling.

Most Nuclear powered subs are used as missile platforms to go kick some ass.

And besides, Canadas not exactly on the peak of technology in regards to their armed forces, more like 30years beahind, same as they always been, they just buy everyone elses castoffs, they not got much need for them really unless the Eskimos get particularly angry
