Wife is after a old shape Mini. We want to get a nice late one, with no rot. From what I have seen thats gonna be hard work. Looked at a couple sites via google, but what sites /forums do mini fans on here use? And wheres good to look for ones for sale? We have a pretty good budget for the right car

yep I'm into mini's, both new and old
To be honest to get a good classic you'll be looking at £4k and up wards, unless you buy a cheaper one knowing there could be body work need sorting out. Look in Mini Mag and MiniWorld, in the back there's loads for sale...

I've got one... Depends on how prefect you want it to be for the price...
My 1996 has been garaged most of its life and only covered 35k, had a front end re-furb about 4 years, but is now rusting around the fuel filler, under the windscreen, both doors, both rear quarters. And that's just what I can see!
So it's off the road until I can afford to/want to get it done properly...
Ace cars though!
