Agree with Natty's Blue!

And if you've just waxed the car... its looking all nice and you've just pulled up at a show stand or taken the car somewhere Poorboy's Spray & Gloss keeps it looking bling bling

even better if you put a layer of collinite 476 on first

so i'm after "poorboys natty red paste" after a layer of "collinite 476" yes?

sounds like some sauce you put on your peas and rice

where from and how much please

and is it worth waxing first or is that best left to the prefessionals?

it depends what condition your paintwork is in to start with

run your fingertips over it, if it feels at all gritty then you need to use a clay bar to remove all the shite that's stuck to the paint, then give the car another wash....then use a polish, i presume you haven't got a machine?? if not then stick to polishes that can be used by hand, poorboys polish with sealant is good at this stage but it won't 'correct' any dull paint or scratches, if you want to do this then use Poorboys super swirl remover 1 or the equivalnet menzerna polish....thee products require plenty of elbow grease though!! (then use Poorboys PwS after)

after you've polished with the above then use the collinite wax followed by the nattys wax.

this will give you a great finish that will last for months and months!

but you need to use quality cloths and avoid sponges and chamois leathers!

there are loads of different combos to getting the finish you want though, so it's just trial and error really.

Why do you need to avoid sponges and chamois? do you mean when you wash it next after you have polisehed it use a cloth instead of a sponge? dont mean to sound antaganistic (sp).

sponges tend to move the dirt around the paint as you wash, rather than move it away...leaving very fine scratches.

a chamois can do the same if not looked afte properly...a proper waffle weave drying towel will dry an entire vehicle without needing to ring it out once

if you go into halfords....the touch up kits they sell come with a tiny little brush (it's very coarse and just looks like a small stick of chalk with a plastic handle, you can use this to clean up the chip properly

as for sea sponges i've never tried them, best thing to use is a lambs wool wash mitt, not too dear either really..

Dojj

lovely colour when clean
