Planning to go this Easter is POINTLESS!

Its wayyyy to early this year, unlike the last two years when easter was very late.

I don't think people appreciate it moves LOL

I am still going for Pinnochios, My girl grettas Bar, and Sabeens raw cook yourself steak.

Sad news is you have to book hotels, ferry etc way before March so there is now way of guessing what the weather is going to be like.

Get some dates JJ, I might be interested in this, rather than March.

You up for a later visit Neil?

dates are changeable on the ferry for a Ł25 admin fee so no great loss if we book the wrong weekend

i dont think we waited until feb this year to book? will have to check back thru emails and see.

thats the risk we take in going early.

we went early a year or two ago and it was great nice and dry then i think when Mike R went ater on it was snowing,so you never can be too sure.

Im easy, unsure if booking for march if the weather is looking balls.

Maybe JJ is right, and we should do our PF visit slightly later in the year.?

Gets my vote too, perfect timing

When the calender comes out in Feb, we can confirm there are enough tourist days to make it worthwhile, and still have time to book

Sounds good to me

Although I'll go round in the snow if they'll let me!

But yeah, May sounds good.

Your standards are clearly a lot higher than most of us, as most of us really enjoy eating out there.

that meal at his hotel was something else though, a completly different level

sabines should be renamed sardines (as we were crammed in like them)

looks like the provisional dates are Thursday 1st May - Tuesday 6th May

i love to cook, therefore HATE cheap food with a passion..... i cook better than 99% of the restaurant meals u get around the ring, thats why it annoys me so much.....and its a ripoff in most cases....
Prices there are a lot lower than in england for the same standard of food IME, so for us lot it seems like good value.

Anyway, to me anything more upmarket than a KFC is posh

I agree about Sabines being a bit cramped and a bit pricey, but when you are with a big group of mates, its still an awesome night out

Just been on the P&O website and the price for a 2 bed cabin sailing on those dates are Ł196 (Ł98 pp)

That's over Ł130 cheaper then we paid last year!!!

yes its the same prices for easter too!

problem is, dates for public days not officially announced until february, by that time its shot up! its Ł25 to change the dates once booked so that may be an option, book now, change if we have to later

knowing our luck it will be a race meet weekend and we wont be able to get on the ring
