So quietly told he'd need fucking more than that, the prick bottled it! He took a few K off me also, and fucked a brand new pace Rad (then tried to claim I owed him Ł600 fucking quid - Told him that he could fucking shove it ).
Last I heard his garage in Welwyn burnt down and he's down south claiming to be a renault tuner!

the controversy stems from his claims that the plenum is good enough for the power you want to make where as everyone else claims that the limit is around the 280 bhp mark, these power limitation claims were then verified by someone else and the story has developed from there
recently geoff kershaw (of turbo technics fame) produced a 500 bhp 24V twin turbo engine to put into his scorpio estate and i noticed that these "280 brake max power from that plenum" claims suddenly stopped being claimed
i think this fairly well vidicates fitz's original claims about the power output he was getting using that inlet
as for the car, built from the shell upwards from a cossie he found in a shed that had been parked up for years and years and took the best part of 18 months to build the bits and bobs for so the work gone into it has been fairly extreme in regards to time and effort
and he wants the car to be used and abused as a proper road car, not some stripped out racer that gives you ear ache on the way to and from a track day or get trailered everywhere, that's just not him, it's the showpeice for his company and i think it does him proud
and no, he doesn't come onto forums to big himself up, nor does he bother reading them either, if you like what you see then fair enough, if you don't then you don't, he's not bilt his car for you to judge, he's built it for himself to have a blast in and show what he can do, and you can't really knock him for that
i have to add that my car is getting the same engine all be it with slightly smaller turbos and a normal inlet, but it's plenty for me, i couldn't afford to run the last one and that only had 12 valves

The ONLY things people have said about is the fact the car is meant to be pushing 500bhp+ but does times about as good as your average Stg3 Cossie.
And the fact the powerband is WORSE than your average 500bhp Cossie one, even though its over 3litres now.
ANYONE who thinks in turbo form that inlet (if you mean the standard one) is only good for 280bhp is a SPASTIC seeing as its good for well over 200 even in n/a form

again, i'm stunned that i actually agree with steve on a subject
as far as i am aware, the only time he's actually had it timed was when he had a dick diff and didn't punt it up the 1/4
good job too as it broke about 30 miles after he'd left brunters
he's had his haters, i know he's had a few deals that have gone way past just going south and he's also got a reputation as a bit of a shady character, but i've known him for 7 years now and he's always been straight with me and has never once said what the car can or can't do
and i've seen him wring the absolute bollocks out of that engine, take corners he should't really be taking at speeds that confused the shit out of me
the car does what it's supposed to do, and that is get from a to b in a hurry, and i don't think he's claimed anything else other than it's got a 150 mph+ top end

The engine doesnt have (apart from cams and plenum) anything other than modified std components like machined pistons and a ported head.....I havent seen Fitz or been to TopBoss since working there so spec may have changed since then but I doubt it.
However you can't deny its a fucking sexy car to look at.....them brakes (hi spec monster calipers) and disks look bloody huge behind them wheels...And being a passenger in it was bloody scary, its quite fast when its all running right and nothings breaking/broken.
Still don't regret working there...was an experience to say the least.

well said lads, it might not be the quickest thing on earth, but ithink if he wanted it to be then he wouldent of put a huge system in the car and 19's on it. the guy hs built something that is different, not the usual cossie on comps, or racelines, or azevs, not the same old stuff.

and i sourced the brakes for him as he's got 360 x 36mm wide discs on the front with hi spec mega monster 6 calipers and 330 x 32's with monster 4's on the rear plus a seperate handbrake caliper
and all his brackets and bells have been made by someone he knows so they are one off's as far as i'm aware (until i get my stoppers put on as well )
