oh yeah i wont be doing it Dave...youve seen my welding lol...small patches only...id give it someone but ive heard a few people saying it shit....but not really any reasons as to why

Overskins are bad an d cause bad panel gaps. A proper replacement skin CAN be as good as the original, after all, that is what they are when made in the factory, a frame and then a skin.

It is all down to the person doing the job.

get a decent skin and some one who knows what they are on about and they will be fine, the key is stretching the metal tight enough to give a taught door, but not stretching it that much that you cant return the material back over the return flange of the frame, over wise it only swells the bend bead, and loose your panel gaps, if that makes sence.

any decent panel beater/tinny will piss it

the place that painted my 3dr will only reskin doors, unless its totally fucked of course. propper old skool panel beaters

downside is that they are at the other end of the country from you

i can skin doors mate iv done loads but iv got a pair of mk4 doors that are sound just need a bit of changing for the interior handle
