Default Who Sells Long Wheels Studs ?

Who sells long wheels studs (for Sierra rears) and can I get them with a ‘shaft’ length greater than 63mm ?

Ideally looking for about 70mm

Cheers,

WD

Ring up Rally Design.

Speedshack were really unhelpful when I needed some longer studs.

Rally design are by far the cheapest, they have all the different specs listed in there catalogue.
Probably half the price of Demon Thieves.

Thanks for the help so far

Rally design – 63mm
Burtons – 63mm
Speed shack – 63mm

I can see a pattern forming …

What are your thoughts on the fitment :

That’s not my car but an identical setup with an open nut. Team dynamics supply a closed type of nut so its not immediately obvious.

Cheers,

WD

As long as you have seven full turns, that is okay. However, I also do the 63mm studs - price is on my website in the wheel section .

I would have really liked the stud to come through and I did have my eye on a set of alloy wheel nuts as a crimbo pressie

Cheers Mike, I allready have a set of 63's for the back and standard for the front. Was thinking if I can get longer for the back I will cut the 63's down for the front so I have even lengths front and rear

I also do the super-duper light weight open ended wheel nuts, which mean you don't need to cut the studs down, as they cover up the threaded length .

I didn't know that you were Peter .

I assumed that because you hadn't chased me, that they were sent on Monday as promised, as they said that if it wasn't going to happen, they would be calling me .

Will chase and advise ASAP.

Yes - 63's

The wheels are 0 offset and to get this they come from the supplier with a machined alloy spacer that fits in the back - resulting in a thicker clamping distance than normal ...

i would look for longer studs mate, just to be on the safe side really
i'd feel safer if there was thread poking out after the nuts have been fully torqued up

Yes thats my plan but I am not having much luck at the moment

Blue book says 1.5 x thread diameter i.e. 12 full turns based on M12 x 1.5

The search goes on ...
