Default F1 peeps..............

When asked about Lewis Hamilton and the McLaren appeal in an interview today, witch current F1 driver said:

"If he wins the title because of this it wouldn't be fair. I'd be embarrassed for this sport"

"Raikkonen is the deserved champion."

"If you have more points, you are the deserved champion. Kimi has won six races and Hamilton has won four."

Yep, the TEAM player....................LINK:

Alonso questions McLaren appeal
Alonso and Hamilton have had a strained relationship this year
Fernando Alonso would be "embarrassed" if his McLaren team-mate Lewis Hamilton won the world title on appeal.

...and if the shoe were on the other foot, of course Alonso would say "No, please leave Kimi as champ..." yeah, right!

When all is said and done, Hamilton had a blinding year, and the then current champion was upstaged by the new boy. Hamilton should be over the moon with his first year in F1 and will hopefully have learned a lot, especially from the last couple of races. I think he did remarkably well under the intense pressure around him from day 1 in F1. His day will come....

I'm really glad Raikkonen did it. Would have preffered Lewis, but Kimi is certaily a deserved driver and is overdue after some close calls

I wish they'd just forget about it all now and focus on next year.

As a Hamilton fan, even I'm glad he won it. We even saw him SMILE for the first time.

I wouldn't want Hammy to win it this way either.

it almost was, alonso is a fading champ and he took his loss fairly admirably under the circumstances

Only because his team mate Massa gave him (and ferrari) the driver's championship.

Didn't he block Lewis (a little ) dropping him from second to fourth and then handed over his potential first place to kimi

No, he didnt block him (even a little) He was pole sitter so he has every right to make his car as wide as possible and choose whichever line he wants. Especially if the line you want helps your team mate win the world championship and make Mclaren look very silly

So, if three drivers were disqualifified under standard FIA rules, and thus every driver finished below them moved up, thus each getting more points, Hamiltonwould have more points than Kimi.

So using Alonso's logic and "fairness", Hamilton WOULD be the fair winner as he would have more points, and thus be "the deserved champion"

Alonso = Proper cunt! Full stop, nuff said, thats it!

I'm pleased that Kimi won the title, be it in a Ferrari or not! I was gutted to see him miss out to Alonso Schumi on 2 occasions because of Mclarens reliability issues over the past few years!

Kimi is an awesome driver, and although he has the personality of a road kill, i'm chuffed he got there in the end!

Naturally i'm fucking gutted for Lewis, i've watched him for some time and to do this in his first season really would have been some achievement, but it wasn't to be and thats it! He'll be champion one day, mark my words!

I just hope that ALL the shit in Formula One stops next year as i've really enjoyed the racing this year, let the driving advertise the sport, not arguements and spygates!

As soon as Kimi takes off his overalls. The drinks come out

Those who are sad enough will notice his wedding ring is "missing"
