hi, just bought myself a laptop and have installed norton 360..... so why do i keep getting a pop up from windows security saying...WINDOWS DID NOT FIND ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARE ON THIS COMPUTER????
When i open the norton page it tells me everthing is protected???

 

show me a screenshot of your desktop mate, so i can see what messages/alerts your getting

It might be that vista doesnt fully support norton 360, im not sure.

 

You can switch off this notification in your security centre

yeah you can switch them off which is why i wanted a screenshot to see if he was getting any notifications in the system tray area.

Plus no good asking him to disable things if the anti virus isnt even working properly
