my ex is in a major financial mess, i've made the mistake of offering the cossie up for sale to help her out (not for her but her 12 year old son) she's due to be kicked out of her house.. problem is the car is with a car dealer/property guy and i know i'm gonna me pants pulled down car is worth £7k easy big spec 4x4 and she owe's £2500 in rent what do i do? get car back an walk away or do the right thing?

Is it your fault she is in a financial mess? If not then no, you shouldn't help her. Fair enough you want to do it for the kid, but if its her fault that she is in the mess she is in, then its up to her to get herself out of it

I work in debt management the now there are things she should look into. Tell her to phone someone and get advice.
