Benni - they are one of the most Psychotic breeds of dog!! They are absolutely fantastic, but lunatics! I'm pretty sure they 'can' be prone to heart conditions, a murmer is i believe the most common, and also breathing difficulties if you get a badly bred line.

Aweseom awesome dogs, and can be so obedient if trained properly, but they are just soooooooooooooo hyper!!

if you decide to get a boxer pup make sure both parents have been heart scorned, basically they have had xrays done to check the condition of their hearts. the dog i lost the other week had a heart problem(faulty valve or summet like that) he was nearly 9 and the other dog i have is 10 year old now and he has no problems what so ever.the new pup i got its parents had radiology pics taken and checked by the vets so hopefully there should be no probs
