Whilst it looks good, it aint THAT good....... and it really needs to be something to take the edge of things like FORZA 2! 
Unless damage is implemented and on-line is something good this is going to drop like a lead fart imo. 1900 x 1080 resolution is not good enough to make a game a killer app. In my opinion Sony took backward steps ever since GT2.
Lets hope the final GT5 release has been much improved.

The cars dynamics feel good too it has to be said, and i am a bit Anal about driving physics i must admit, i hate it when they feel like that poncy ridge racer. ROFLOL.

im on step 6 and when i enter a password, then reenter password, i check the box, as it says, then click the appropiate bit to go onto next screen
but it fucks me over and sends me back to step 6
any ideas???????????????

Did anyone try changing the language when they did it? When you select country, below it has a drop doen box with langauge.. I didn't try (just followed the web page exactly) but one would assume that you could choose japan as country and language as english. After all there's gotta be genuine english speaking people downloading it in Japan?

I downloaded GT5 HD and thats all good too !
10 cars but only 1 track
but you can run it in reverse
and there is a drift stage too

I have never gone against you before, but as regards to the PS3!!!!! Your ass is mine! 
You are still in the honeymoon period mate... I have had mine for nearly a year now and probably paid twice as much as you (I know... my fault). Everyone is hanging on to GT as the PS3 saviour. The current crop of games is an absolute joke (after a year) and whether or not GT is the bollox will not make any difference to that.
I REALLY do hope that GT5 is the bollox...... but Sony need another 20+ titles like it to ensure the PS3 actually achieves what it was supposed to.
There a lot of people that have believed Sony, bought the machine and have been led down the garden path.
Regardless of what people think of the 360...... it keeps pumping out quality game after quality game (with some obvious crap ones as well).

just downloaded it....played it for about 5-10mins and switched it off...dont like it in the slightest...and i REALLY hope the full game is MILES better than this!

I even tried to avoid the driving games but had to do the Sega Rally Cossie
So anyway the point i was trying to make to my mate was right now the gamers choice has to be the 360 and as it happens it can play HD movies too instead of a ps3 Blue-Ray player that also plays games if that makes sense?

My young lad just ordered a PS3 online today and this looks like the only really good game for it so far !! I have an Xbox 360 and the choice of games far outweighs the choice for the PS3 !! GT5 does indeed look shit hot but can bet that COD4 for the 360 will be even better !!!

Downloaded it, and its nothing special at all, dunno what people are raving about Looks ok / good at best (iv got a 40inch 1080p samsung) and found the gameplay quite dull tbh! I miss my 360 but i had to sell it for cash, il get another at christmas but it will never compare with the ps3 for online games! 32 players in warhawk with zero lag or 4 players in prey when it first came out and was totally unplayable!

Blacky, that video is shocking I really like the new cockpit view in Prologue, but they need to make more improvements, details such as the driver reaching to shift on gear changes for example....it work's well in Dirt, if they wan't it to be realistic they need to add things like this. Just hope they have some form of damage and better sounding cars in the final game

I think it looks AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! And you have to remember this is only a "demo"!!!!
Still like Adam said,takin hands off the wheel for gear changes,fuel and temp gauges workin on the dash etc etc..Im sure all this will be smoothed out in the end though
