Basky Look above Dave not only was the tyre gel man a Bufty but also had a 4x4

As for the BBQ cost less for all that food between me and Lee than it did for my Bacon butty first thing. Also helped that Basha kept giving Lee money every time he got a burger.

Cheers for putting up with me of the day though mate, you have a good afternoon once i left? Sorry didnt say good bye couldnt find you before we went.

Dont know if he was thrown off,but he did get black flaged for drifting.
But they did say not to do it in the briefing.

as for scaring kids and crap cars ,i thought the turnout of cars was good in general ,the odd standard bmw but they pay their money like we all do .

Personaly had a great day out Hotel the night befor
Only problem i had was the cossie cut out after 2laps and i had just passed the pit land I rolled on to the gras and it fired up again in a few seconds, still dont know why??.
I was with Plynchy in the inter group with his porsche buddys, got a couple of rides out of a couple of lads in novice too.
Nice to pass a few porkers in the 20 year old ford

I was out in my Red XR2 and had an ace day. I thought the day was very well run but it's the 1st time i've ever done a track day at Donington where there has been 4 x 20 minute sessions. Still being on the GP circuit made up for it.

Cossies all looked good but I had to PMSL when the guy on the pit lane tannoy said 'If any of you today own a 15,000 BHP Cosworth you are probably going to break the 98DB limit so please do something with your exhaust before going out on track!'

Anyway, top day...

BTW, what was the problem with the Saph that was towed on the back of the ST24? It looked a bit terminal??

Matt
that was mine not terminal, threw the alternator belt off so i got towed in, sent my m8 for a spare got it on in time for the next session & then got black flagged for noise, checked the belt again & it had already started chewing up the new one so there's a problem with one of the pullys

I'm suprised you need to ask Nick, Disco was being his usual "Playfull" self !!! LOL

He nearly pulled my passanger door mirror off as he did a fly by under the dunlop bridge, even rich (my passanger) breathed in !!!

I must say the track budget shitter Nissan primera did quite well for what it owes me... Ive had to laugh, the guys on the nissan primera owners club seem a bit pissed that we put taxi graphics on it.... Like i give a fuck!

No sense of humour some folks !!!!

Me and Ben have booked of for the 25th November, anyone else going?

I did 117 miles on track on Sunday and worked out last night that I was getting 9.8 miles to the gallon. I thought that was pretty good seems as I was flat out all the time on Twin 40's.

Next track day is Goodwood on 15th November 2007.
