EU ban on performance / sports exhaust systems
the EU have banned sports exhausts, the legislation comes into effect early next year.
there should be noise limits but a blanket ban is crazy
if you agree sign this - 5 seconds of your time, nothing controversial

I've had a quick look through that link and it appears to only apply to exhaust firms seeking EC type-approval for replacement parts.. not all replacement exhausts.
Anyone else got more time than I have to get their head around it?

the point is it won't remove loud systems from our roads waking us up at night... the legislation has holes in it at the moment but give it a few years

i'm not sure if it will do anything, although the road pricing one got so many signitures it caused a stir and people took note, of course this alone won't stop it, it does show that we as motorists take notice of what goes on in brussels / the eu and our national laws etc though
