Silverstone has put in planning permission for new pits and other stuff, I would assume to assist it in keeping F1... the plans can be found in the link below, if anyones interested

The track layout will remain unchanged according to the plans, but there will be substantial revamp of facilities including, two new hotels, an exhibition centre, a technology park, residential housing and educational facilities are all proposed to be built in Silverstone's grounds.

 

Ecclestone is just Greedy, it will be his doing

 

I wonder how the locals will recieve the plans. I expect the new houses would cause complains as people in rural areas generally dont like larger community growth

sorry mate but i disagree, silverstone is a shite hole compared to some of the worlds tracks, hopefully this will bring into the 21st centry

 

 

Ecclestone has told Silverstone, if they dont make the improvements he will pull the GP from Silverstone which will lose the cicuit millions per year.

So as said, it is his doing, I havent said anything for you to disagree with mate.
