Congratulations to Simon Wooley & Dan White @ Fast Ford.
New editor to steer Fast Ford
Dan White is in the driving seat
Future, the special interest media company, has announced the appointment of Dan White as editor of Fast Ford magazine, the UK's biggest and best selling Ford tuning magazine.
Dan has become Editor at Fast Ford after spending eight years working on Future’s sister title Redline where he worked his way up to the position of deputy editor, working on over 100 issues of the performance car magazine.
Dan has been tasked with identifying openings within the Ford market covering existing products, online opportunities and in traditional print format. He will be working closely with Publisher Helen Richmond and former Fast Ford editor Simon Woolley who was recently promoted to Senior Editor of the Ford portfolio.
Publisher Helen Richmond said:
“I am extremely pleased that Dan will be joining the Fast Ford team. Dan has a wealth of experience and having worked in the industry for years he is already well known and respected in this market. The Ford portfolio which include Classic Ford and Fast Ford, are increasing in their commercial importance and Dan will be working closely with me to ensure we are fully capitalising on all the opportunities the Fast Ford brand offers to us.“
Fast Ford Editor Dan white said:
“I've had my eye on Fast Ford ever since we bought the title and I'm incredibly excited that the opportunity has arisen for me to become the Editor. Simon Woolley and the team have built a fantastic magazine with an enviable reputation, so I'm really going to have my work cut out maintaining its position as the UK's biggest and best selling Ford tuning magazine.”
Dan White:
Simon Woolley:
I would like to personally congratulate them both and wish them both well in their new appointments.

Im SURE I can dig out a MUCH more embarresing pic of Whitey than that one
Honestly, Whiteys shithot and knows his cars (and has got a scary knowlege of THE most random/rare/wierd cars ever), and just bought a ST200 Estate to mod too actually.
Will do a good job on FF methinks, tho notthing really needs changing as its got a good overall thing going anyhow IMO
Right, time to find a really bad pic of whitey...

Bearing in mind theyve been in the mag and even on a set of playing cards its not exactly a big deal.
Theres also pics of whitey suitably trannied up somewhere if need be, not to mention the "special" pic we keep on the shelf at work.
I wont post anything up, its like the Cold War, both sides have weapons, Mutually Assured Destruction

DanW, have you got a ford?
I know its been a while since I last met you (about 7 years i think, lol) but werent you into golfs at the time?
This might be a bit of a quick education for you in terms of how right you were then to have a vw, if you have to get a ford now, lol

Congrats to both
Fast Ford is a top magazine, and I am sure that Dan will ensure that it stays so.
Lets hope we continue to get great quality technical articles from Stu and the likes without which I for sure would not buy it!
