Last nights Top Gear....
Sorry for ANOTHER Top Gear thread, but I just watched last nights show....
How the fuck do they get away with it?
1) Smoking inside the building - it's a fineable offence!!!! How do they intend to get away with that?!?!?!
2) MoT states the doors on a vehicle must be openable from both the inside and the outside of a vehicle - how can Clarkson get away with showing up in a pick up with the doors welded shut with only the sunroof as a viable option for exiting the vehicle?
and c) Hampsters active propella on a public road
they are just asking for trouble LOL

There is an exemption of the smoking ban when the act of smoking is of 'intrinsic artistic importance' to the scene

They said in the paper that they were smoking herbal stuff which isn't illegal

there is probably some legal loophole like private members clubs can allow smoking, they can say all the audience are there by invitation only or something (which is true)
good on clarkson is what i say!
i went to TG a few months back and he was chain smoking all the time, i even give him a fag cos he had run out!

a while ago they cut the roof off an espace and drove it on public roads and made a botch job of a cabby roof on it, there is no way that was road legal! it looked to me like they had previously arranged with the authorities to close the roads off etc.
dont beleive everything you see on TG, alot of it is just sexed up for entertainment value.
