S14 is the circa 1995 model. Had the SR20DET, but a relatively undesirable body shape.

The S14a which ran from around 1996 onwards has a much more appealing style with far more aggressive front-end etc. Definately the one to have.

Watch out for big-end failure, they are known for it, along with VVT rattle, rear bed bushes etc, which are all known weaknesses.

We specialise in these, so if you need any help.......

the 200sx seems to be a kinder car to own.ive only owned the pulsar though.but tranny was weakest link.quick cars 0-60 and down the quarter and totatlly awesome on th etwisties but so fragile.200sx will be more"fun" and entertaining and stay toghether better.but as said s14a is the one you want.

more expensive to get the 350 but there wont be loads in it.although the cossie will be a stronger pull from mid revs due to turbo size.normally t34 at that bhp

s14a is considered the baby skyline.although i'd rather have an s14a than a gtst/gtsm skyline.theres only one skyline to own imo,the gtr!

why do cossies have me by the balls?

your discription of the cossie having a harder pull makes me want a cos now, they just feel raw

do you mean more expensive t get the cos to 350bhp

thats cossies and rs's mate.i had my pulsar after a series 2 and then a 205 but always wanted a cossie.wont be without one anymore.
as you say, they are raw.and full of character.
the cossie is cheaper to get 350 from.330 bhp is piss easy and will cost round 500 to 800 quid depending on what you buy and who from.no other car gives bang for bucks like that.

At what we know as 350bhp, against what the Cossie world thinks is 350bhp, there would be no contest. Not only would the 200SX be faster, but it would feel alot more 'proper' too.

What does it cost to get a Cossie to that power?

I heard that last year,

I heard from a friend (girl) that this friend of hers, had a 'skyline', turns out he calls it a baby skyline, its a 200sx.

he took the girls (inc. my ex) home from the pub the day i met him (hadnt been drinking), but was busy showing off, and stuff it backwards up the curb, into a brick wall!

my ex GF had to be cut out of the car, and had neck problems for almost a year after that.

good thing the police were already there when we arrived, otherwise he would have been short a few teeth when he needed to give his statement, still makes me angry to this day

you must also consider ALOT of 200 owners always think they have 300+bhp cos they have, bought the right parts, but they have never been near a dyno.

i have wasted a few 'modified' 200's in my saff, and mines 4x4 and a fairly conservative stge 3 at best
