Default Started repairing the car.....Now painted new pics page 2

On Saturday I thought I would start getting the quarter panel back into shape. The damage at the rear of the arch was hardest to sort out as the arch was rolled under and had some really hard to remove creases, at one stage I was almost ready to chop off the panel and give up trying to use the original.. After perseverance it's now is not far off The area behind the bumper is too badly damaged so today I found a suitable victim at the breakers and chopped the bit out. Reyland Escort soon back in service.

Have you got pictures yourself Martin of the damage? I remember Lee saying he had, But wasn't sure if you wanted them posting..

Would be good to compare, As the only picture I seen wasn't a very good quality one...

Also, Will it be a "as good as new" repair, Or you just making it look alot better than it was?

If you can tell it's been damaged afterwards I will be very pissed off, it has to look exactly as it did pre blow out.

Quite like my steel panels thanks If they were fibreglass when the tyre popped I don't think there would have been anything left.
