RIP Jonny Kennedy - what a man
AKA The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off.
Who watched his documentay on C4 last night? I know it's a repeat and there was a thread last year when it was first shown, but I missed it then.
I can't imagine how brave he must have been to live through the pain of having his whole body covered in sores. I fell off a mini-moto and scraped all the skin off my knee recently and that hurt like hell, so to see him going through the process of having his bandages redone really made me feel for the man. And he had a wicked sense of humour throughout it all (to see him checking out Nell McAndrews titties down her top was well funny).
I never normally give to charity, because if you start with one, where do you stop? But Jonny inspired me last night, and i'm now going to make a donation to his charity DEBRA. You can do so by clicking the link

Watched this the first time round, very moving.
Off topic, Rolf Harris did a "Animal hospital" special last month, showing "best" and "worst" moments thru the last 5 series, and i did blub at some of that

If there was ever any more proof needed that there is NOT a God then that documentary was it.
No God would ever let someone suffer as much as that poor fella did for 36 odd years, second time i have seen that on TV and still just cant believe there could be such a cruel disease.

I was quite moved by the program and shocked by the amount of suffering he had endured all his life!!!
Next time any of us think we have problems, we should think again! You just don't know how lucky we are until you see something like that!!!

we don't know how lucky we are to be healthy and to be able to lead a normal life. after seeing things like this, you realise how insignifcant a broken car is and that you really should complain about something so trivial.
