Is there any home remedies that will stop my dog digging up my lawn iv built a wall 4-5ft high dividing the lawn and patio but this is no detterent

its normally due to boredom(spelling)
give him something to chew on when he's in the garden alone or ant other toy that will keep him occupied.
i give my Rotty those big white bones you get from pets at home made from hide (dunno what that is
) or even those naturall bones which have been cooked.

she dont really play with toys unless the other dog has one then it only wants the one the other dog has 
so if it is cos shes got nothingbetter to do then im stuffed cos i cant help it she only gets put out when we really need it
i swear iv got the laziest staff in the world i caught her jumping the wall oneday just to go up the garden to lay in the sun
so far iv heard put her own shit in the hole cause she wont dig up her own shit or sprinkle cayenne(sp) pepper over whereshe does it
