TBH Lee, you live "oop North" so saw this far more readily than myself. However, if you base an entire area financially on a finite resource. What exactly do you expect to happen when it eventually runs out or becomes less than profitable.

And your thinking of going into your own business? Id grow up first........As for starting a business, it's not happening, unable to raise sufficient capital. So i'm now enrolled on a HGV traing course, funded by myself, as there is no financial help available in my local area. Different story if you're not of English origin though, guess I've got our great government to thank for that.

Well good luck with the HGV course, i think youll regret not giving the business a go though....
Rich, the areas economy and finance was based on that resource as that was the main industry and what the villages were built for, to house the miners. And dont forget it had a major knock on effect too. There is still 100 years of coal left under Barnsley so it was hardly going to run out in my lifetime....and like global warming YES im selfish and only think about what happens in my lifetime.

That way the people will be voting on him and his leadership rather than him taking one in the ass for Tony.
