1. Take the whole lot off with the speaker still attached to the mounting bracket, I think there's either 3 or 4 screws.
2. Take off the wiring connectors an then take the whole lot away from the car.
3. As I remember the speakers are mounted in with metal tabs and just silicone style sealed round them, so push up the metal tabs with a screwdriver so they'll fit through the holes so you can press the speaker out. It will take hard pushing to break the sealer. Be careful not to cut yourself doing any of this step because it's very easy to do with all the edges on the brackets. The speaker will come out if you press enough and hard enough though.
4.Then you need to find some new speakers, and they will need to be fairly slim depth wise, because if they're not you won't be able to fit the brackets back onto the car because the speakers will catch on the car body. I would take the original to the shop or base the size on that because there are a lot of them that will be too deep.
5. Mount the speakers on the brackets, I find using the original holes (even though they won't be quite the right shape to begin with) and screwing a self tap screw through them works fine.
6. If the wiring connectors need changing then do that.
7. Mount it all back up and give it a whirl.
And that's magic. As you can probably tell I've done this a few times.
