i wouldnt try and get a load of bass out of 6x9s as they wont like it,

im only going to use 6x9s just for rear fill for rear passengers in mine, as my front speakers will be up to the job of supplying everything i need and to go with the subs

but 6x9s acn be made very loud lol, id go with any of tem brands to be honest as they all are good in 6x9 format but dont kil them

In my last car i bought infinity 6x9s and JL Audio Sub and Amp, that sounded mint and could go well loud with out distorting. Glad i bought the jl stuff when they had an offer on because its quite expensive if they didnt have it on !

just a little tip..if you want sound quality...do NOT go for 6x9's...they are desiging to play alot of midbass and low notes due to their ability to move a fair amount of air...especially in an infinate baffle scenario...a sub will overlap these frequencies and play them ALOT nicer so the need for 6x9s has gone...

granted they go loud but you will get a MUCH MUCH better sound from round co-axial/component speakers which will also play very loud...

Im an authorised dealer for many brands so drop me a PM and ill sort you out

from the top of my head you will have 13cm speakers...i would say go for the Rainbow's in the front - the SLX 230 if i remember right...about Ł120ish...

then go for a nice sub and amp package using the best equipment you can afford...if possible...fork out for a ported box as it WILL be worth the extra boom you get for your money

they are some of the best of the best...components range from Ł130 - Ł8500!! i run these in my Focus at the moment and they are AMAZING!

its abit like home audio...all the big expensive home audio brands not many people have heard of!

Rainbow is the company itself and they are all hand made in germany

I run infinity's in the front doors and infinity 6x9's in the rear and a fane 4 ohm 600 watt rms 18 inch sub in a ported box that goes down to 31hz,

The sub many of you will have never heard of as fane have gone bust and they were never meant for cars maybe bassboy has heard of them?

the name does ring a bell and im sure i was hearing the name when i was in primary skool...cant remember now to be sure...

at the moment i run these:

2 Orion HCCA 15.2s (on the left...comparing its size to the old Orion H2 and Pioneer 3001SPL)

check out the cone area compared to a average 15" sub

5000wrms of bass doesnt half slow the car down though

Rainbow components in the front and nothing in the back

ignore the red circle lol
