like any trade you can not learn a trade in that short a day, i am on the 4th year of my plumbing apprentaship and you gain your experiance through working, so these fast courses are a con in my opinion.

im a plasterers labourer iv never plastered before and i had a go the other day and it wasn't to bad. the hardest bit is getting it off the hawk
the rest is easy a monkey could do it. it's just get a coat on so it's as flat as you can get it give it a good fuw minutes and flaten it. then repeat it a fuw times if it needs it. i think any one could learn it i 4 days easy.you could learn it in a day

i disagree fast track course's for plastering + dry wall etc are very easy you have to be a tard who has no DIY skills at all to fail them

But you cannot learn, building, joinery, electrical and plumming in such a short time.

Im a sparky done a 3year course and a plaster'r gets more money than me for a days work

hows that work out

my bro did a 4 day course, then worked as someones labourer for a few months, doing the odd bits along the way and learning as he went along.

he now (7 months later) is pretty competent at it and is pulling good $$$$

its like with driving, its easy to learn to change the gears and 'drive'...but your not good at it until youve drove for a bit.

mate you can not just learn how plaster in just four days and no a monkey can not just do it, unless you are working for some one that has no standards, i have been a plaster for around 13years, it takes years to learn all the ways of plastering different background and ways different plaster works + rendering.
