Default 10 Year olds maths homework - Can anyone on here do it?

Here you go!

Using the digits 0 to 9, once each only, make five different numbers that:

Assignment 1) divide by 7

Assignment 2) are prime

Good Luck!

Assignment 1 - only 7 can be divided by 7

Assignment 2 - 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, are all prime numbers as they can only be divided by 1 and itself

Paul, by use them once each to make a number divided by 7 I assume it means

28 35 7 14 0

As all over those divide by 7 to give an integer value (no remainder)

Quite enjoyed that challenge:

1) 7 28 35 84 91 all divide by 7

2) 2 3 5 7 61 all prime

correct?

Doesn't the question mean you have to use all the numbers 0 to 9 in each exercise?

You didn't use all the numbers between 0 and 9!

There's no 6 in your first set of answers, plus I think you need to use the zero too.

nah just trial and error guessed the first few then figured one of the numbers must be a 3 digit and a Maths degree helps!

Ill leave the prime numbers to you guys!

The question cannot use all the numbers to answer both assignments - it aint possible, as you will need more numbers than provided to do both assignments as such it is surely just...

Prime numbers - 1, 2, 3, 5, 7

Divisible by 7 - 0, 7, 14 , 28, 63

My best guess, based on the sketchy wording of the question

Where does it say that you have to use all the numbers?

It doesn't I suppose, but it should. The question is not worded very well!

I think you're supposed to use all the numbers 0-9 for assignment one and then again all the numbers from 0-9 for assignment two.

Wow - that is a tough question for a 10 year old then!

Bugger that. I think I will stick with the far easier Quantum Physics! I have just worked out what Quarks are!!!
