Mk6 Escort owners.. need help :)
Just picked up a run around Mk6 escort finesse. The indicator doesnt cancel when you return the steering wheel so I presume the little tab bit that normally activates the cancel is broken or worn.
My question:
Can I remove the indicator stalk (I know its a single peice) without removing the steering wheel?

Yes you can just unscrew the plastic covers on the steering column i think it one or two screews on top three underneath once the covers are off theres a screw each side to remove the stalk assembly

Done, just got it off on my lunch break. Sure enough the cancel tab is just floating on some springs and does nothing!
