Was driving home from the Combe afterparty when I spotted some pals down the pub.... had a swift Red stripe and thought I would drop car back and then a mate asked for a quick demo... he has a Ferrari F430 and so I thought I would put on a special show....

that looks like something ive seen before where the exhaust mounted to the gearbox caused the case to bust open on big acceleration, its a shocking idea really when you think about it.
after i saw it happen i subsequently modded mine to mount off the body completely.
shame about the box though.

It has nothing to do with the exhaust hanger but more to do with....
Yes Lee that's your rear diff
You launched it and the diff broke but locked up at the same time, all that new found power had to get out somewhere... Hence the centre diff casing etc bought it.

ive actually done that same thing to my gearbox many years ago
and no one knows why it happened, mine happened while moving though
jamie at jampsort waa driving as we couldnt work out what the vibration was and then that happened got it back and the transfer case just fell off
but my diffs were fine
shit when it happens though
