Bought one on Thursday as the missus has been bending my ear for ages to get one. Wasn't to fussed about it to be honest but now I've sat down and started playing with it I think its bloody fantastic Much more of a group console as apposed to the PS3/XBox. Had a hoot with th baseball, unfortunately I got carried away and nearly knocked the curtains down !

Just trying to setup the Mii mingle and adding friends but am struggling. I have added a few email address but its saying I need to register first ? anyone know what im doing wrong ??

I've got a Wii but havent done that im afraid. HAvent done much at all yet tbh.

Yep Wii is onlinw. The weather and ews channels work and I have run a few updates but this darn Mii stuff is bugging me now.

Still is a massive laugh though !

 

To do the Mii stuff you need to swap friends codes with your mates. Once you do that you can send and receive all the Miis you want.

Got Tiger Woods 08 on Friday and have been playing it most of this weekend, its fuckin quality

Always found wii sports golf to be a bit lacking, as its only got one mode of play and one course, but hey what do you expect for nothing

 

i got TW08 with the Wii and had my first game yesterday. Really is quality shot a 92 on my first ever game ! more practise needed

 

ive still got TW07

but im playing paper Mario at the mo, which is awsome, Will have to buy TW08 tho

 

I'm getting pretty good now, half the battle is knowing what shots to play and when - i used to play golf regular a few years ago, and have played tiger 07 religiously for the past 9 months or so, so i'm not too bad at it, usually end a round only 3 or 4 shots over at worst

My mrs thinks im mental though, every time i hole any decent length putt i'll shout

"ooooooh! Happy learned how to PUTT!" as a Happy Gilmore reference

Had one, but it gets boring fast, less so when its chipped, but its just a bit meh
