Atleast you will know for your own benefit what it is running power wise.
Don't suppose your doing runs up the road for Ł10 are you
If so I'll stick Ł10 your way

Testing the future
it was fast, but not very exciting to watch
the rally school peugeot 106's were far more entertaining and sideways at quarry and they are wrong wheel drive
was a nice day out, but very tame compared to gatebil - can't we have some interesting track action in this country? if that's what time attack events are like, i don't think i'll waste my hard earned on going. i can watch fast cars going around a circuit every second weekend on itv and fall asleep in front of the F1 for free

I went past and looked in my mirror..... then I had brainfade and started really staring in the mirror at the front of your car thinking how cool it looked.... and thinking I fancy a black Evo... and then I was thinking is that a real plate??
Next thing I know I have 2 wheels on the grass and can't get back on track! was VERY scary!
Really shook me up, I was all over the place the rest of the session. Was really pleased to see chequered flag

Toatlly agree with you there, as much as its enteraning to see a car drifting around a track, its more astounding watching a car acclerate and grip, overtaking car after car and using the power to produce some fast lap times.
It also seems to me that Rally Day was pretty much represented and overall dominated by Fords, on track.

I found it pretty entertaining myself....
I'd love to be able to drift like the Gatebil boys, sadly I can't though! I want to learn though and was really trying and doing some huge ones at National day over the back where I was pretty sure I could loose it and not have a big one... BUT
Fuck practising at Combe though just to keep you happy!!!! You go off at Combe you do BIG damage!
also... call it selfish but I do trackdays to thrill myself and my friends and passengers.... not some moany old git sitting up in the stands!

Cant complain, its just the way it is. Look at any event, stands get rammed when the drifters come on, the stands empty and everyone goes wondering around when its normal track action.
Im well entertained with Time Attack looking round the pits at the awesome cars, the actual track action im not fussed on.
Track is for doing, not seeing

not saying that you should get yours sideways martin, you were obviously there to show how fast it was and get to the front of the field in the session where i saw you out

Nick,
I can only imagine you were looking the other way when the sideways action was on...
I've got plenty of photo's of sideways - mk2 Escorts, the 106 Pugs, 3Dr Cossies, Quattro, Evo's...
Try telling Phil Collins he wasn't sideways enough LOL

In all honesty the Rally cars that were there are worth a hell of alot of money and it was good to see them actually being driven, albeit not as hard as they could be but alot better than just seeing them sat not being used.
As for drifting though i sat at Quarry from 9-1 and i saw plenty, i cant believe how hard the guy in Red mk2 was pedaling with his rear end out.
He was loving it
I must admit the show with the rally cars was a little slow to begin with bit when the group B cars came out and current WRC cars - what a show they put on.
Missed the dialynx Audi though and Greg Rose's in the thunder anyone have any footage

Thats exactly what most drifters do, and if he got the talent to hang it straight away at the next corner idve thought he had the talent to straighten the car back up with ease?

Also if you get a chance have a look at some of the shite people have written on PASSIONFORD about how fords dominated the track action and how the REYLAND COSSIE made all the EVO's look slow. Spend 100 grand on an EVO and we will see how it goes then.

The only Evo with a similar build cost is Norris Designs Evo, however although more powerful it already owes him more than Martins iirc plus its currently having some major work done which I have no doubt will add a huge amount to its build cost so it techinically doesn't make it a fair comparison.... or does it

Not moaning, just find some people very narrow minded, I am like many EVO owners and have come from the RS world and still have many friends with cossies, I still like them alot and could only dream of having a car like yours.
Just thought comparing your car to regular every day EVO's was like comparing chalk and cheese.
