Default Easter Bank Holiday 2008, Nurburg.

Last Year it was in April but just looked at a calender for next year and Easter Bank holiday is in March.

Didnt realise it could change that dramatically.

For me it cost around 600 pounds to go last year as a passenger and bought a 10 lap ticket for passenger rides.

Brakes are ok for run of the mill fast road stuff, but I can tell that on the track they would need a far better pad in them, which has already been discussed with Stu.

think the ring cost me 1500ish for everything last year, that was me AND the missus, the hotel was 85 euros a night i think,, though most of my cash was spent on beer

recon its EASY done for around 800 quid without having to penny pinch ect

i tend tow waste cash when i go out,, i managed to spend 800 quid in malta when i never bought a beer and the food was part of the booking

Why would they not open at one of the busiest weekends of the entire year?

I still dont get the obsession with going at Easter - it is so fuckin busy, and as a consequence, dangerous! Why not wait till the kids are back at school and have a serious time of it!?

Agreed with that. The social is awesome
Also plenty of cars and girls to look at, and lots of people in sportcars to overtake!

I'm also going in October with JJ and co as I'd like to get some clean laps in with less trafic too! 2 trips a year, best of both worlds!

lol,

Alex, i'm there for the cars and the laugh with the lads etc....

probably leaning a bit more with the laugh with the lads compared to the track, but i did enjoy it last year as i learned it a bit more and got a bit better at it,so i enjoyed it a bit more from the previous year.

I really would love to go over the bank holiday weekend, will be trying to sort a passenger slot as the Saph will be off the road bye then. Also if i am not driving i can drink more, from what everyone has said Easter weekend is just about having a laugh with good friends. Be nice to experience it without worrying about my car for the first time i go aswell.

So if anyone wants a passenger who enjoys a drink, is up for a laugh, and doesnt mind paying his way then give me a shout.
