Quick Question Actuators and Wastegates
OK trying to improve the MPG of the FRST, since its pretty rubish on 701's, at the mo the car runs 12psi witch i've gained by shorting the rod on the actuator, would i be right in assuming that if i lengthen the rod to say 8psi and use a bleed valve i can save fuel by running at 8psi untill more psi is needed in which i can adjust the valve since the wastegate will be more shut at lower rpm's than if i was running 12psi, does anyone understand this, just wondering if my theiry is true the cars stage 2, so running a bleed valve shouldn't cause any problems or would it,
Help would be would be great, Cheers SEB

Cheers mate was hoping it might just have to live with it lol, think i'll go in and have a tune up its been getting slighty worse i think over the last few months either that or im just getting tighter lol, it only does about 22mpg driving normaly, i had no intercooler for a day or so once and only going slow i mean really slow up hills had to keep to a vacuum to stop it going over 50act's and it was awsome on fuel, so was hoping this theiry might work etc. im sure its got worse since i raised it from 10psi to 12psi aswell unless its just im my head.
Cheers For the help
