Default fujitsu laptops - activating wireless

trying to help out a coleague with not much luck.

hes bought himself a Fujitsu Siemens Laptop, model La 1703.

problem is hes having trouble trying to activate the wireless function so he can utilise the hotels wifi network, down side is the books/manuals are 300 miles away at home and the help desks are now closed until the morning.

luckily, on my Toshiba Laptop - wireless is easily activated by a switch on the front of the unit, but his doesnt have this.

any ideas, pointers or anyone in the know with this model of how to activate it.

Cheers

When the laptop boots up, on the XP loading page.

Hold "Fn" And "F2" at the same time,

Fn is near the bottem left.
