mondeo experts

does a 2001 2ltr duratec h.e? engine have a timing belt or chain? And when should it be changed

im no expert and dont take this for gospel but im fairly certain theyre chain, and i think theyre a non service part. the V6s arnt anyway.

yes chain.

they're inspected at 100,000 miles to check for wear. Unlikely to need replacement tho!

Bloody awesome engines too!
