Was there ever a 2l xr4x4?
A mate is giving me a 2 litre xr4x4 but i thought they came in 2.8 and 2.9 flavours? Is this just a 2.0 sierra with a sticker on the back or could it be a xr4x4?

They are the same on the gearbox and transfer box and related parts, but the front and rear diffs are 3.92 compared to the Cossie 3.6x ratio, although they are both 7" diffs on the back.
The front knuckles and hubs are different though on the Cossie compared to the DOHC XR version.
Dojj or Mick can tell you a lot more though.

Changing the Diff ratio makes it EASIER for transmission to cope. Its like trying to climb up a less steep ladder if you know what I mean?!?!?!
