Default what were these engines fitted to?

was just bored and browsing race car adds and seen this engine and just wondered what they would be fitted to normally?
the spec in advert is
"Cosworth XD 2.65ltr engine, 1999 model, Freshly rebuilt with New crank, rods & pistons, dyno run only , 110 kgs , 4.5" carbon clutch with spare plates/steel flywheel with integral clutch basket, carbon fibre F1 baffled oil tank.

Currently N/a (550bhp @13500/260lb @ 9500) running on methanol or can be run in twin turbo spec (830bhp/320lbft @5 psi boost) with up to 10psi boost."

there was only one pic of if but spec sounded not to bad and 830bhp at 5psi aint to shabby no doubt stavros wil have some info on them

99 makes sense, think it was this millenium when they dropped the boost even more, 2 or 3psi i think.

not made much odds to power tho, they jus use bigger turbos.

awesome engines.
