Ok, maybe its not the ring, but check out the corners, who needs the carousel when you got them down the road

Oncoming traffic is sometimes an issue though, then again traffic coming the same way is usually just as dangerous there

Absolutley nowhere near (50+ miles away), but im interested if theres a road like that down there!
You mean the road from Bath towards Stroud? If so I know which bit you mean, and this is about 206buzzilian times cooler, and massivley longer. 1.5miles or so before it straightens out and about 2miles before it goes back to 2 lanes.

This bit is a 25mph limit its that mental, my Mondeo understeers at 40mph going UP it, its that tight

Your mini wouldnt even make it to the top Rad, its properly steep

I was there for about an hour wondering up n down its 1.5miles (fooookin knackering that is ) and the amount of cars coming past properly stinking of clutch was mental.

My mini was stupidly quick on the way down there, I bet quicker than stav's charger will be!

Not so hot on the way up though with only about 110bhp, but still quick enough to be fun.

Porlock Hill
Porlock Hill is a section of the A39 from the village of Porlock the road climbs approximately 400 metres in under 2 miles up onto Exmoor, producing a very steep hill with a gradient of 1 in 4 and hairpin bends. The hill must be driven slowly and with great care. At the bottom of the hill there have been numerous accidents when coaches have crashed into walls as their brakes fail.

There is a less steep toll road that small vehicles can take as an alternative route.

Are any of these other roads people mentioned actually wide ass 3lane roads like I put up, or are they just little windy lanes like they sound?

As surely there are little windy lanes everywhere?

whats drifting got to do with it? im on about having a bit of room to push your car to the absolute limit, something you havent got if the most minor bit of under or over steer will put you in the scenery.

I dont think you need room to push your car to the limit TBH, and the key thing to me when comparing to the ring would be a lack of oncoming traffic!

My point is there, if done right, you can.

The others mentioned are just little roads like thousands in the UK, only posted them pics up as its different to any other road ive seen in the UK.

Have you tried driving down it hard?

You cant see enough of if anything is coming to use the other lanes to straight that right hander, and without doing that, you have no run off or is it in anyway different to another road really.

Dont get me wrong, I used to enjoy fish hill, but the width you mention isnt really very usable in my experience of it.
