Default A silly question, head testing

Only a silly question to those that know I suppose!

Can a head be crack and pressure tested insitu or does it have to be removed from the block/car?

As some of you read in previous threads chemical head test and compression seem ok, so investigating futher..

never heard of one been tested in situ apart from using blue point cooling system tester etc. best to whip it off have the machine shop skim/preasure test it for acurate results
