Default What's best for..........

...removing the sticky pads used to stick number plates to the bumper?

They are a pain in the arse to get off if you're wanting to change your plates over.

What do other people use instead, as a lot of people swap plates all the time for show plates etc

hair dryer on the sticky pads to get them off..
replace with velcro?
