Default What car for £5000

Thinking of a new car soonish due to leaving my job

Should have about 5k to spend.. and I been browsing PH for the last few nights and I cant think for the life of me what appeals

I want a turbo and either RWD or 4x4, Im trying to stay away from a Saph... But I can see thats what Im going to end up getting

If its FWD Im gonna get, its gotta be quick and handle well!

Any ideas?

Id really like an Audi S3, But its 3k out my budget

Edit : Gotta be petrol too!

Plenty of Scoobies kicking around for that price, nice ones aswell.

I really like RX7's if you can find a nice one for that price.

If you hunt about you'll get a good 3.0 one for that. I got offered a N reg in red with black leather and 90k on it for 3500 2 days ago. HPi clear, with history. Needs a Mot and tax though. Great fun for 5k too!

Depends what you want the car to do, if its just going to be a little run about then i'd get something like a corsa or nova xe for a couple of k and just thrash the kite off it and generally drive like every other xe powered vehicle

what about a c43 amg or jaguar v8 xjr... Both lovely cars and can pick them up for 5k, just now a days.. Have some prestige fun.. The jag goes to 60 in 5.2 and the AMG 5.6.. Loads of car and reliability and speicalist people to look after too. Remember both 60k plus when new
