My general feel about the McCann's is there is something fishy about them....

Something is missing out of the story... Remember that thread a month or two ago about Maddie! Few people were saying the parents were in on it..

I think they are not telling the full story!

They interviewed her for 11 hours then released her, so she can obviously discuss what was said in the interview with her husband and prep him to say the same as her, as they won't be interviewing Gerry McCann until 2pm today. Surely that can be seen as collusion....

it said on the 10 o'clock news, and is repeated in that article:

She was questioned as a witness until after midnight on Thursday. Police have said the McCanns are not suspects.

...

A public statement from the director of police followed, saying the McCanns had never been viewed as suspects.

deffo suspects, said it all along, i reckon she/he went back to check them, something happened whilst she was there (perhaps even accidental?) and the whole thing was covered up. If it were a single parent / unemployed couple rather than a couple of GPs in question they would already have been behind bars!!!!!

Latest update....

Madeleine mother 'to be suspect'

Kate McCann, mother of missing four-year-old Madeleine, will be declared a suspect by the Portuguese police, the BBC has learned.
The McCanns' family spokeswoman revealed that Mrs McCann will today be declared an "arguida" or formal suspect.

Mrs McCann and her lawyer were informed of this by detectives during 11 hours of questioning yesterday.

The McCanns have consistently denied any part in Madeleine's disappearance.

The spokeswoman said arguida status would then allow the police to put certain questions to Madeleine's mother giving her the legal right to remain silent.

She will become the second formal suspect in the case. The first was Robert Murat, a British man living locally.

Mrs McCann's husband Gerry is expected to be questioned on Friday afternoon about Madeleine's disappearance from an apartment in Praia da Luz on 3 May.

Mrs McCann had been interviewed before by police, but this was the first time her lawyer had been present.

She was questioned as a witness until after midnight on Thursday. Police have previously said the McCanns are not suspects.

Did you see when Gerry went to america and got absolutely fuckin grilled on a chat show!

He got pasted left right and centre about how he shouldn't have left her alone and the show's presenter grilled him about 'Is there anything you haven't told the police'.. I know that's not the issue here but you've gotta look at the situation from all angles...

I mean FFS she is a GP and Gerry is a surgeon and that were too tight to pay for their Nanny to come with them on holiday... Jesus christ!!!

A 3 year old goes missing and hasn't been seen for 110+ days (Not even a confirmed sighting! ) Sorry but that in it's-self is fishy...

Look at Natasha Coombs who got hit by a train. She was found/seen in 7 foot grass/nettles/undergrowth after a fortnight! Not 110+days missing....

I mean come on, Maddie isn't going to just walking away buy a bus/train ticket and leave is she!

I'm telling ya The McCann's murdered Maddie and buried her somewhere to cover their tracks!

They certainly have the skills to dispose of the body if that is what happened, maybe an accident they panickexd tried to cover it up and went along with it all thinking she would never be found, i have also never understood leaving a 3year old on her own that is crazy

Can you just imagine the implications of Kate McCann potentially knowing more about this whole thing than she is letting on?

With how extensive the investigation is etc. However many millions has it all cost? Also, with how far and wide they have taken the investigation themselves, if they ever proved to be guilty of something, they could never hide.

Makes it sound as though they made a habit of leaving the kids on their own?

Anyone got any reason to believe this was the first night they left them on their own?

Even one night is one too many, I dont understand why the parents havent been arrested for neglect at the minimum, they are partially to blame for behaving so irresponsibly in the first place IMHO

They WERE involved, at the very least they were involved in putting the kids at so much risk by leaving them alone in the first place.

I don't think the law in Portugal covers this and actually I don't think they have broken any English law either...

Leaving children at home alone
What the law says

The law does not set a minimum age at which children can be left alone. However, it is an offence to leave a child alone when doing so puts him or her at risk.

How do you decide if you can safely leave a child alone?

There are many important things to consider before you decide to leave a child alone. These include:

the age of the child
the child's level of maturity and understanding
the place where child will be left
how long the child will be left alone, and how often
whether or not there are any other children alone with the child.
For example, most parents would think it's OK to leave a 16-year-old alone for the evening, but to leave them for a week would be unacceptable.

Many young children play outdoors with other children without suppervision but most people would agree that this is an important part of growing up.

You are the best judge of your child's level of maturity and responsibility. Read our "Home alone" information leaflet for more information: Home Alone
The definitive question would be.... did they put Maddie 'at risk' by leaving her alone....

Also read this.... http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/l...cle1762734.ece

I think it's terrible that they left 3 children alone, let alone it being in a strange country too. If there is any law that they can be prosecuted under, I hope they get the book thrown at them for being so irresponsible.

Reminds me of the Lee Evans comedy sketch this....

Wife & Husband on a live interview on telly, broke down in tears - 'wheres our daughter - someone must know etc etc'

Lee Evans then says - 'they've done it, they've fooking done it'

Lee Evans then does an impression of the police - 'we will continue to arrest the wrong people until we realise its THEM!!'

Totally agree mate....something aint right. If i was in that position id be screaming at everyone to try & find the baby not walking round all calm & going to Rome etc to meet the pope. If they are innocent then they have to live with it for the rest of there lifes they left there baby un-attented & that in it's self is a big punishment.

Hope little Maddy is found soon whether the news is good or bad

This is what the wife thinks,

they got the 2 younger kids to sleep, but maddie was not playing so they gave somthing to sleep being doctors and went out. they fucked up with the dose and she died.

so what did they do dispose of the body as they professional life would end.

The reason why the blood has taken so long anylise is they have found somthing in it eg the drug.

thats what the wife says

and intesting concept me thinks

Quite a plausible explanation, although I would have expected the body to be found by now if it was so quickly disposed of by two distraught parents, as you wouldnt exactly be thinking straight at the time!

on the news last nite it said "mrs mcann is putting herself forward as a 'suspect' to give her more legal rights."

this confuses me as it's a bit of a contradiction is she DOESNT have anything to do with the dissapearance.

and have you seen how quickly the news papers have gone from putting 'CAMPAIGN FOR MADDIE' on the front of their papers and paying for leaflet drops around the world etc, now they are saying "GUILTY WITCH" lol

how cruel they can be

I too thought there was something not right from the begining, the parent's body language suggested there wasn't a care in the world. I have seen thing's like this before, you see reaction's and think, how can they be so cool, calm and collected, if it was my own I'd be distraughtly crawling the fucking wall's, you'd definitely be deranged, borderline insane infact until you found her. Whatever the outcome, I think there's going to be a huge backlash.

Having said all that, I'll reserve judgement on the parent's until all is made clear and they are either found innocent or guilty. Don't want to be slagging them and then they get cleared with 100% concrete evidence.

Have thought this all along, and I feel the only reason they went to see the pope was to make themselves feel better, and make it look good in front of the public.

Such a sad shame for the little girly, where ever she may be.
