the thing that makes me sick the most, is how much money have joe public made to help find maddie????
isn't it somewhere if not there, in the million mark???
What were the McCanns planning to do with this money???? Do they not earn enough or was it to make themselves feel better????
How much police time, both over seas and British, has been wasted????

Can't see them both being involved personally.
If it's either of them, then if I had to bet I would choose dad rather than mum.
Perhaps all this suspect/charging of the mum is a ploy to get the dad to confess later today....

It's unbelieveable, but in a way, so likely.
Firstly, from the point of view of covering their tracks, I wonder whether they have shot themselves in the foot by persisting with the search. If they had said a couple of weeks ago that they had finally accepted that Maddy was gone and were abandoning the search, what would have happened? Would the police and everyone just have closed the book and left it as an unsolved murder/abduction?
Secondly, the amount of money that has been extorted out of the good people of the world and also from the Government etc in efforts to track her down defies comprehension. If she/he/they are found guilty of this offence, how could you ever penalise for that?
All speculation I know, at this stage, though as time goes on, it's looking more and more likely.

At first, we all felt for the McCannd and wished they found their beloved daughter! Now i wish they throw away the key.
I can't help, but think, if they had, like you said, accepted that Maddy wasn't coming home, would we be saying the same thing????

My gut feel is that they are covering up an unfortunate accident which has spiraled out of control. But that's pure speculation on my part. I'd rather be wrong and she turns up safe and sound.

All I am saying is there are plenty of parents who by other peoples standards are doing wrong.
There will be people reading this thread who I am sure have left their young kids on their own for a period of time, done mega excessive speed with their kids in the car etc etc. The thing is normally nothing goes wrong and hence no one knows anything about it and life goes on as normal.
The irony here is that if one/both of the parents did kill her intentionally/non-intentionally then leaving the kids on their own actually turns out to have no relevanve to the situation at all.....

Its not until ive listened to what other ppl's views are, its made me think.
I hope who ever did abduct her is found out soon and pays the price and if it is the Mcann's they have to pay back every single penny!
