Default Port sizes...are these any good?

Inlet 26mm
Exhaust 23mm

I've just whipped the inlet and exhaust manifold off of my engine to see what kind of port sizes they are as the previous owner didnt meansure before it was rebuilt and the company that did the work supposedly only do one spec of head (Cylinder head developments) that is good for upto 500bhp according to the guy on the phone...

Well I thought that would be a bit of a claim seeing the real world figures on here so I went to have a look for myself and ask the people who know on here...

I'm speccing the engine for 400-420bhp and it currently has a pair of bd10's and is supposed to be low comp (next thing to check for myself when I get a few hrs free to lift off head)

Sorry for the essay guys just wanna make sure I have a good cylinder head.

Cheers
Dan

I'm sure Cylinder Head Developments know what they're doing! I'd just like to know how it compares and if it'll flow 430bhp without further work.

Anyone...what are your port sizes?

Hmmmm I reckon i might get away with it then...as I thing the bigger exhaust ports you would have required might have been down to the fact you were using a bd14 exhaust and i'll be using this bd10 or std (dependant on which suits turbo best once I decide)

Cheers
