VW Corrado Door Handle broken??

VW Corrado Door Handle broken??
My sister has a Corrado G60 and it has a broken door handle. You can open the door from the inside, but the exterior handle does nothing.
I haven't looked at it yet, but wondered if anyone has any experience of this and knows whats what? Apparently they are known for it and there are repair kits available?
Are Golf's the same?

Not heard of this on Golfs fella. Do a search on google, it might point you in the direction of a Corrado forum.
