As said on another post,we all had a top weekend, and my Ł350 silver saff did me proud.
Only real issue was when the gallacher focus nearly took me out on sunday afternoon,i'm assuming he was in the 'a' session for charity rides?
Anyway, forget that, track 'weekends' are the future,i'm assuming it will be the same next year mr dingy?
Paul;
I was stood behind you on sunday when we signed on,but i was still half asleep,so didnt say hello, and was following your escos on the warm up when it started chucking shit out the exhaust and popping and banging. What was the problem? But i think you should fuck it off and use the black 500 more often,it was the car of the show on track for me,what a machine, and as i've said before, one day i'm coming to scarborough, and going home in that car,and it might be soon aswell!

Croft has been the must attend show for me for the last 4 years, and now i can make a weekend of it,what more could you ask for?
Well done to all involved.

Awesome weekend - great organisation - standards of driving were good. Think I was in a group that was a little slow - however these things are hard to judge.

Brigsport - glad u had a good time, also glad we sorted it out between us, re our little near miss on the track. As I said my bad. Hope to see u there again next year matey and well played for such a basic powered motor!

Its the only car show of the year I bother to attend other than the yearly ring trip.

The m3 performed faultlessly and it was great to meet up with all the usuals and a few new folks!

Andy_r - Andyrs500 - Dumped - Dingy - Madman Rob Wiles - Topaz - Jim Green (nice m5 matey!) - dingy - nutter - tim(butch) - Neil_s - Spiky - Smit (legend) - Mickey from Ireland (good to meet u after so long!) (the chap with the silver evo 7 called Paul) etc.

Awesome track day really enjoyed it - atmosphere was perfect.

Cheers and I'll be back next year

Steven rw:
I'm not a cunt, and i felt bad that you got the brunt of my anger, and i should of shook your hand and discussed the matter after the session, not before the next one,but the gallacher car really shit me up.
My mate doing a number on me didn't help, but i sorted it out with him aswell,as he thought the same as you that i was letting him through, but thats what indicators are for .
I'm glad we sorted it out though.

Was only there on the Sunday however thought it was a great day!
Wish'd that i had been down for the Saturday too!

National Day IMO was very poor this year therefore i wouldn't even bother compairing as Croft would be the winner hands down!

Massive shout to all involved in organising!

Will be there for the full weekend next year and the track car will be there too!

had a few problems keeping noddy on the track in the morning but once we sorted the problem (tyres ) we had no other issues all day except for running out of fuel and forgetting to go for a 0-60 run

nice to meet marco- shame it wasn't due to better circumstances

its a great track thats not too hard on the car

Thanks for all the feedback.

Seems that we as a pair of groups have more on an idea on what to do about a show than people give us credit for

Steve i know what your saying ,but in honesty, you had a better track arangement, and better weather .The show was great

National day had a lot more Local groups ,more traders, more visitors, stands fron mags and rallye cars ,Clarion(if thats what floats your boat) and fantastic track viewing, unfortunatly the track itself got a little boring.

This is constructive not a dig,but i have never had to sit in the pit lane as long as this year at croft .They seem to be over the top on the time scale thing.I remember 3 years ago when i came back from living in germany, the show seemed to have more Motorsport traders,Motorscope had a caravan for 1 ,do they no longer want to attend??I know it is dificult to get traders as the tinternet has cornered the market.
The idea about the arm bands for car security was very good ,no arm band no car out,yet the security didnt check mine for one or our lass in the Jeep

Just trying to look at it from 2 perspectives

Clive, it really doesn't matter who had more of what mate...

NOT what makes the show...

It was simply the atmosphere - felt like a proper rs show and not some circuit race side show....

2 perspectives then...

No cars nicked at croft
Cars nicked at national day

You had a time table mate regarding the track time - it was organised and on time as far as i know so the comment is un called for.

So whats next ?

wrist bands were just a detterrent that worked !

no cars stolen from car park job done!!

some traders are not interested in travelling up north

the show was meant to be put on for everyone to enjoy and get a real buzz from, not to try and out do national day

judging from feedback so far everyone else was happy and ended the show season on a high

i just hope nobody went home feeling dissappointed?

no problem at all mate- just glad i could help- but will keep the offer in mind

glad you sorted things with brom- the longer sleves should do the trick, maybe you could get adjustable top mounts if you wanted to run any more camber?

Whats next??

Maybe you could offer your help to the main club and set them on the right course.Problem is they dont have a decent venue anymore,if they have to use rockingham ,it just needs to be 100% RS orientated and better planning, with 2 track days. Oh and a bit of good weather helps with the atmosphere.

Just to say i dont think i have ever had a more enjoyable track day as the saturday,it was not trouble free but the lads in the padock where all helping each other and having the crack
Still think the guy at the end of the pit lane was a jobsworth though

great show as always, its the people and the relaxed atmosphere that make it, with no pretend hitlers who think they are something there not, which annoy the majority, well done to all concerned Even Dingy

Could have been either Nick (Tappy) on here or Nash - would guess it was Nash....

We noticed a Red RST going very well but never came up against you as far as I can remember... will take a look back through the video footage.

You were going very well though!

Paul;

Next time kick me in the back and say hello

Havent fixed the escoss yet mate , not sure whats wrong , it does 2 laps then starts to overfuel like a twat and cuts out

Your little saff was great , I bet you had a good time on track ???

I dont think i would sell my black 500 now mate , i have had a taste of what it can do on track

Fantastic weekend - everybody worked well together & even though we was doing something all weekend we all really enjoyed it..

The atmoshphere to me was like we were all one big club and all worked & enjoyed it together.. Roll on Croft next year - I'm gonna be on track!!!

I spoke to people I never had done before and everyone was really friendly apart from one child that would not leave the pit lane but hey he never spoilt my fun!!

And the 80 year old lady made my Sunday! Fantastic lady - hat off to her ..

Sketch, was it you who came over for a chat after being in Si B's evo? (Me with the red S2)
Nah not me I dont think mate?

If you were driving the red S2 that was going VERY well, then nice one! Its good to see them be driven quickly
Yes that was me, cheers!!!
Somebody came over to chat that had just been in Si B's evo on track at the same time as me (Group C), he seemed surprised to see a standardish looking CVH running MFI
Didnt get his name though
Could have been either Nick (Tappy) on here or Nash - would guess it was Nash....

We noticed a Red RST going very well but never came up against you as far as I can remember... will take a look back through the video footage.

You were going very well though!

Si
I think you might have come past me at some point

Great looking Evo BTW, looks quite evil. Especially with the black plates on

Unfortunately, i don't think it's for the lack of trying to help the main club - they don't appear to want to listen to, esp when it comes to the track

I understand ND is not just about track, but when i read the above feels like i'm moaning for the sake of it. Does that not clearly indicate there is a problem with pricing/organisation when there is space left at the RSOC's main event when Croft and Bedford sell out. The replies i got from the committee seemed to me like there is a reluctance to do anything about it as they aren't filling the track in the first place - there are reasons for this, but they just seem to get ignored.

If the track places at Rockingham were priced more like the Croft weekend, and it was a full day, then i would have definitely done the track, along with at least two more of the east yorks club...

We had already discussed it prior to details being announced, we were all set for it but when we found out that it was half a trackday, and then saw the price, we quickly knocked it on the head and booked a Circuitdays event at Cadwell, and then did Croft aswell

Quick Reply: Thanks to all that attended Croft...
