Default Saph electrical problem

Coming back from Croft today and the cars developed a strange electrical problem.

Some times when turning a corner [left or right] the rev counter will just drop and i will have no power at all. The engine is still running aslong as you are on the move and its in but there just nothing there. If i pressed the throttle a few times it would come back to life.

I am just wondering what could be causing the rev counter to just drop? I was wondering if the ecu is just not getting a signal?

Any ideas would be helpfull.

Leave running and do the wiggle test, look at CPS connector first.
