Does anyone on here work with Corian or Glass for Worktops?

I'm after some info and help (and to buy!!)......

Kevin, thanks for that. Will bear it in mind.

Contract Glass in Norwich are well known for custom Glass worktops, which is exactly what we wanted, but their original estimate of Ł400 for what we want rose to over Ł800 when we lodged a more serious enquiry. The bit we want is only 2 metres long and we want most of it cut out as it's for a bathroom and the bath is going in it so we will only be left with about 80mm all the way round!!

Of course you have to pay for the whole bit.

We hoped to use the bit that is cut out to make a shelf. That only applies if we go for Glass. Corian is a bit different and wouldn't allow us to use the middle bit.
