to be fair mate they are fucking cheep these days and a fucking pukka car for the cash
even im tempted but the bills with it keep me away
besides with the route i got to work each morning im getting 11mpg in my 325i
the M5..... well i recon the bentley boys would be shocked

I get about 20 mpg (just under) out of the M5, and I dont drive that softly!
Wise ref the bills though - when I bought mine, you could still get one that had the extended BMW warranty without the stupid excesses on each claim (£250!!!!
) As far as I am concerned, the only way to buy the E39 sensibly now is from BMW, which comes with a proper warranty without stupid excess for 12 months!
Things that go wrong include VANOS, MAFs (just done my MAFs), and other stupid electrical thingys
Mind you - mine is now ace, as got almost everything done on the warranty last year! Hurrah!

i think that BM is nice, whoever buys that wont be buying it for its value, they'll be buying it to own a nice rare motor thats been well finished.
