Ford escort s reg started welding it saturday about 12 pm finish the one side about 4 pm rear chassis rail rotted all the way along from were the rear beam mounting point to the shocker. Hit the other side on saturday with the hammer guess what same again
. So that's been my job today on my mates ramp. So ended up dropping the rear beam and removing exhaust. That took me from 11.30 to about 2 pm.

I had a 5 year old mk2 rs2000 in 1983 when i was 18,and the rot had already well set in on that,with the basic models suffering even worst as they were built in britain.They last a very long time nowadays
