Default 202 block????

Just seen a add by a trader selling cosworth 202 blocks ! now am i being dum but i was sure the only cosworth blocks were the 2wd 205 block , 4wd 200 block or the holly grail a rs500 205 block! please tell me if im wrong!

202 is the transit block......

Good block and perfect for a std or stg3 cossie motor rebuild,but they cannot be long studded as they are different low down...

202 is just a late 2 litre pinto transit block - nothing more.

Internally its dimensionally the same as any of the cosworth blocks so can be used as the basis of a cosworth engine. Does not have thickening of the cylinder walls like the 500 205 block or the 200 block

Its basically a 205 block with less core plug holes

There was a big thing for them quite a while ago now but it all died down, dont know if anyone ever ran big power with the 202 block.
